1. Nature of Services
Aurum offers two distinct categories of service:
- APN Clinic — clinical care delivered by qualified practitioners, including BioRegenerative Medicine, Auricular & Bioenergetic Medicine, and biotherapeutic drainage.
- Aurum Spa — restorative wellness sessions, including contrast therapy, infrared sauna, ozonated cold plunge, and BrainTap sessions.
Spa services are not medical treatments. Clinical services are delivered subject to a separate intake, consent, and assessment process described at the time of booking.
2. Eligibility & Health Disclosures
You must be 18 years of age or older to book services on your own behalf. Bookings for minors require a parent or legal guardian. You agree to truthfully disclose any medical conditions, medications, pregnancy, or contraindications that may affect the safety or appropriateness of a service. Aurum may decline or modify a service if disclosed information indicates a contraindication.
3. Bookings & Cancellations
- All services are by appointment. Walk‑ins cannot be accommodated.
- A valid payment method is required to hold a booking.
- Cancellation policy: appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time at no charge.
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no‑shows are subject to a fee equal to 50% of the booked service price.
- If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened or rescheduled at our discretion.
4. Payment
Service prices are listed at the time of booking. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Receipts suitable for insurance submission are issued where applicable; insurance reimbursement is your responsibility.
5. Assumption of Risk — Spa Services
Spa services involve thermal extremes (sauna, cold plunge) and physical experiences that carry inherent risks, including but not limited to dizziness, dehydration, cardiovascular stress, slips and falls, and skin sensitivity. By participating, you confirm that you are physically able to undertake the service, you have disclosed relevant health conditions, and you assume the inherent risks of participation.
You agree to follow all posted guidelines, staff instructions, and time limits, and to immediately exit a service if you experience distress.
6. Clinical Care — Informed Consent
Clinical services are provided in accordance with the professional standards of the relevant regulatory bodies. Clinical care is preceded by intake, assessment, and written informed consent specific to each modality. Outcomes vary from individual to individual; nothing on this website or in our communications constitutes a guarantee of result, diagnosis, or cure.
7. Gift Cards & Packages
Gift cards and pre‑paid packages are non‑refundable but transferable. Unless an expiry date is required by law, gift cards do not expire. Packages must be redeemed by the person named at purchase unless transferred in writing.
8. Facility Conduct
Aurum is a quiet, private space. We ask all guests to silence mobile devices, refrain from photography in shared areas, and respect the privacy of other clients. We reserve the right to refuse or end a session for behaviour that compromises the safety, dignity, or privacy of clients or staff.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurum, its directors, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or our services. Our total liability for any direct claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, photographs, graphics, the Aurum wordmark and brand mark — is owned by APN Health Collective Inc. or used under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
11. Changes to Services or Terms
We may update services, prices, or these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
