Optimization Spa

Aurum Spa.

Where heat, cold, and stillness restore balance.

The Aurum Spa Experience

Private thermal wellness, designed for deep recovery.

Aurum Spa is built around the power of contrast therapy — alternating heat and cold to awaken circulation, support recovery, and regulate the nervous system. Within our private thermal suites, sauna and cold plunge work together to reset the body and quiet the mind.

This is not a rushed spa visit. It is intentional restoration — a space to decompress, rebuild resilience, and return to life feeling clear, grounded, and renewed.

Services

Four pillars of restoration.

Each can be booked on its own. Together — in the order our team recommends — they form the full contrast protocol.

Thermal · Amazonia

Infrared Sauna

Gentle, deep‑tissue heat from infrared panels in our Amazonia suite — easier on the heart and lungs, reaching cellular depth that supports circulation, lymph flow, and parasympathetic recovery.

  • 40 min session
  • From $45 · 1 / 2 / 3+ guests
  • Private suite

Thermal · Oceania

Hot Stone Sauna

Traditional radiant heat from heated stones in our Oceania suite — the original ritual. Higher ambient temperature than infrared, more cardiovascularly demanding, deeply restorative.

  • 40 min session
  • From $45 · 1 / 2 / 3+ guests
  • Private suite

Cold

Ozonated Cold Plunge

Ice‑cold, ozone‑sanitised water for a sharp reset of the nervous system. Short immersions reduce inflammation, lift mood, and train resilience — the cold gives, and your body recalibrates.

  • 2 – 5 min immersion
  • Ozone‑filtered for hygiene
  • Best paired with sauna

Contrast · Signature

Private Contrast Suite

The full sauna and ozonated cold plunge protocol in a suite of your own. Cycles of heat, cold, and stillness — paced for circulation, nervous-system regulation, and quiet recovery.

  • 1 hr session
  • From $60 · 1 / 2 / 3 guests
  • Amazonia or Oceania

Neuro‑Sensory

BrainTap

Guided audio, light pulses, and binaural frequencies that lead the brain into calm, focused, or restorative states. A 20‑minute session pairs beautifully with sauna or cold plunge — or works on its own as a quiet reset.

  • 20 min session
  • Multiple guided programs
  • Great as a sauna pairing

How a Visit Works

The contrast protocol, step by step.

  1. 01

    Arrive & settle

Check in, change into provided robes, and let the suite become quiet around you.

  2. 02

    Heat

12 – 15 minutes in the infrared sauna. Circulation opens, the nervous system softens.

  3. 03

    Cold

2 – 3 minutes in the ozonated plunge. Sharp, alive — and remarkably calming on the other side.

  4. 04

    Rest, repeat, recover

Two more cycles, then a slow recovery in the lounge with water and quiet.

What Contrast Therapy Supports

A protocol for the whole system.

Circulation

Vasodilation in the heat, vasoconstriction in the cold — your vascular system gets a workout it can’t do on its own.

Nervous‑system regulation

Repeated, deliberate stress and recovery train the parasympathetic response. Better sleep follows.

Inflammation

Cold immersion downshifts systemic inflammation. Heat supports lymphatic clearance.

Mood & focus

A noticeable lift in mood and clarity — driven by norepinephrine, endorphins, and earned stillness.

First‑Visit FAQ

What to know before you come in.

How long is a typical visit?

Standalone sessions range from 20 minutes (BrainTap) to 40 minutes (sauna). A full contrast suite runs 60 minutes — a 50-minute contrast circuit plus a 10-minute shower.

What should I wear?

Bathing suits are required for the plunge and sauna. We provide robes, towels, slippers, and water. You only need to bring yourself.

Is the plunge really that cold?

Around 38 – 42 °F. It feels intense for the first 30 seconds — and then your body adapts. Our team will guide you, and you’re always in control of how long you stay.

Are there any contraindications?

Heart conditions, pregnancy, severe blood‑pressure issues, and certain medications can affect safety. Please disclose any conditions when booking — our team will guide you toward what’s right for you.

How often should I come?

For most people, one to three visits a week produces the strongest benefit. Many regulars build it in as a weekly recovery ritual.

Can I combine spa with clinical care?

Yes — many of our clinical clients use the spa to support nervous‑system regulation between visits to APN Clinic. We can recommend a flow.
